All bidders must submit a MasterCard or Visa acct. # with exp. date as a security deposit - sent via a secure site only. Pook & Pook reserves the right to charge the total invoice amount plus a 2% handling fee to the credit card acct. of record if bidders have not paid within 15 days of the auction date.

Dealers:
Billing name and address must agree with your state or local sales tax exemption certificate. Invoices will not be changed after they are printed.

To be sure that bids will be accepted and delivery of lots not delayed, new bidders to Pook & Pook should supply an auction house reference OR a bank reference and also submit a 25% deposit. Call if you have questions regarding use of references.

I request that Pook & Pook enters bids on the following lots up to the maximum hammer price I have indicated for each lot. I understand that if my bid is successful, the purchase price for each lot will be the sum of my final bid plus a premium of 17% of the successful bid price up to and including $1,000,000, and 13% on any amount in excess of $1,000,000, and any applicable state or local sales or use tax.

I understand that Pook & Pook executes absentee bids as a convenience for clients, and is not responsible for inadvertently failing to execute bids or for errors relating to their execution of my bids.
Pook & Pook will try to purchase these lots for the lowest possible price, taking into account the reserve and other bids. If identical absentee bids are left, Pook & Pook will give precedence to the first received.

I understand that bidders are responsible for requesting condition reports on items and/or physically inspecting items prior to bidding. Condition report requests must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to the sale in order to receive a timely response.

 

 

I understand all successful bids are subject to the Terms and Conditions of Sale printed in each catalogue and available online. I agree to abide by those terms and the guide for absentee bidders.

No bids will be accepted after 5:00 pm the day PRIOR to the start of an auction session( i.e. Thurs. for a Fri. session or Fri. for a Sat. session ). Ideally all bids should be received at least 24 hours before the sale begins.

In order to guarantee that bids are executed, all bids must be submitted in writing via fax, e-mail, or post. I understand that bidders are responsible for calling to confirm that bids have been received.

Note* - While there are NO minimum bid requirements for phone bidding during the Illustrated Catalog sales, Variety sales do have minimum bid requirements. In order to arrange a phone bid for a Variety sale only, bidders must agree and commit to an opening bid of $500.

Provide phone numbers to be utilized for bidding on the auction date below. Phone reservations are given on a "first come, first serve" basis. This form must be submitted in order to secure a phone line.
